São Joaquim
A private rear courtyard at ground level of a single-family residence, organised around a masonry planter with a white tabique-style finish that extends to the paving and walls. The white palette was intentionally chosen to reflect light and enhance brightness throughout the space.
An integrated bench emerges along the rear boundary, while the home’s technical and energy systems are discreetly enclosed behind slim, light-grey metal slats. Large-scale green foliage defines the botanical composition, with monsteras lining the longitudinal wall, complemented by Fatsia japonica and Alocasias, creating a calm and immersive courtyard where architecture and vegetation coexist in balance.
